The first two charging stations for electric vehicles were installed in Bishkek. Press service of the City Hall reported.
The project «Simplification of obtaining permits for installation of charging stations for electric vehicles in the Kyrgyz Republic» is being implemented in the capital as part of Government Accelerators program.
The stations were installed on Zhukeev-Pudovkin and Kievskaya streets (behind the City Hall) by private companies. Distribution companies have to accept this equipment and install meters.
The City Hall recalled that earlier Bishkekglavarchitectura developed a scheme for placing charging stations for electric vehicles. From 30 to 60 stations are planned to be installed.
The Government Accelerators program is a special reform mechanism developed by the UAE government, which is a methodology thanks to which government agencies must solve problems and achieve their goals within 100 days.
