The second Dariya Fest will be held in Bishkek. PeshCom initiative representatives reported.
The event will take place on June 25 on the embankment of Ala-Archa river.
Dariya Fest is held to draw the attention of the city authorities to the fact that there are no convenient places for recreation along the rivers in the city.
«Embankments in the capital are an underestimated urban resource, they are not being improved. With the help of the festival, we want to show how to make them lively and popular places. Even with a small investment, you can breathe life into an abandoned space and fill it with new meanings,» the organizers say.
Different zones with street art, board games, games for children, a lecture hall, a market, food and much more will be prepared for the guests. In addition, visitors can simply relax by the river in the city.
Admission will be free for everyone. But, as organizers stress, organization of the festival requires costs: materials for creativity and benches, fees for masters and organizers, rental of musical equipment and much more.
