Representatives of a religious organization were detained for an attempt to bribe a security officer. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.
A criminal case has been initiated.
«Earlier, representatives of one of the Christian religious organizations were brought to administrative responsibility for violation of the law. This organization held worship services with the involvement of foreign missionaries who did not have a permit to conduct religious activities. After the fine was imposed, the foreigner who worked there applied to the authorized body for registration, but he was refused. Representatives of the organization turned to an employee of the SCNS with a request to help them resolve the issue and offered $1,000 for it,» the state committee informed.
Two representatives of the organization were detained.
