A modern angiography system for diagnostics and treatment of vascular diseases was put into operation at the National Hospital. Press center of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan reported.
Installation of the modern angiography complex will provide high-tech medical services at the National Hospital, so that patients will not have to go to private clinics. This will significantly reduce the cost of diagnosis of vascular diseases and provide more affordable conditions for all citizens.
«The equipment can serve as an imaging and navigation tool for the surgeon inside the patient’s body. Thus, the angiography system opens up new possibilities for performing complex interventions and surgical operations with high accuracy and safety,» the ministry noted.
The Ministry of Health added that the equipment is the result of the effective use of funds from the World Bank’s Emergency Response to COVID-19 project. «The amount of more than 60 million soms invested in this angiography system confirms our desire to develop a modern medical infrastructure and improve the level of services provided,» the ministry stressed.
