President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov urged Kyrgyzstanis to keep cleanliness during their rest on Issyk-Kul lake. The head of state published a video with divers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, who have been trying to clean the bottom of the lake for several days, on Facebook.
According to him, mostly people throw plastic bottles with sand into the lake. Each time, divers lift up to 50 kilograms of garbage from the bottom.
Sadyr Japarov, commenting on the video, noted that cleanliness depends on each person.
«Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have been cleaning the lake for two months. Cleanliness is up to us. Why are we so indifferent? We ourselves litter, and then we demand cleanliness from the authorities. I ask you to maintain cleanliness.No littering means no trash. Each person is obliged not only to observe order, but also to demand it from the others,» he wrote.
