Deputies proposed to reduce the fee for car window tinting permit at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on transport, communications, architecture and construction.
Deputy Bakhridin Shabazov noted that at one time the Cabinet of Ministers stated that the issuance of permits for car window tinting would replenish the country’s budget.
«80,000 soms is a high price for car owners. Do you work for quality? Can you reduce the fee to 50,000 soms?» he asked the head of the Main Traffic Safety Department Azamat Israilov.
The official promised to discuss the proposal together with the Ministry of Economy and Commerce.
Deputy Shairbek Tashiev suggested setting fees depending on the engine size.
«For example, up to three cubic meters should be 30,000 soms, then 40,000, 50,000 soms. The larger the engine, the more expensive the tinting permit should cost,» he said.
Recall, the procedure for registration and paying the fee for car window tinting was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers on May 23, 2022.
