The procedure for issuing permits for tinting the front side windows of a car has become simpler, and the fee has been reduced. The press service of the State Agency for Registration of Vehicles and Drivers under the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan reported.
From September 1, 2024, it will be possible to apply for a tinting permit online without having to visit the departments of the state agency.
«If you contact the department of the state agency, you can submit digital documents: a passport and a vehicle registration certificate through Tunduk application. The size of the fee for registration of a permit for tinting of vehicles has also been changed,» the statement says.
Permit for tinting car windows costs:
— 50,000 soms for individuals;
— 70,000 soms for legal entities;
— 90,000 soms for non-residents.
The state agency added that the system for accepting applications for registration of the permit online was developed by Infocom state enterprise. The service is now being integrated into mobile applications.
- A tinting permit is issued for one year only for passenger cars of category M1, excluding taxis.
