A cache of weapons and ammunition was found on the Kyrgyz-Uzbek section of the state border. The Department of Information and Communications of the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security reported.
«While serving with border detachment in Suzak district of Jalal-Abad region, a service dog gave a signal 600 meters from the state border. Border guards found a sawn-off shotgun made from a 16-gauge hunting rifle, hidden in a water hatch. The gun was wrapped in plastic wrap,» the statement says.
Weapons and ammunition were handed over to employees of the territorial division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
