As of today, the state issues 161 certificates in Kyrgyzstan. The head of the Digital Development Department of the Presidential Administration, Azamat Burzhuev, announced on Wednesday at the International PLUS- Forum Digital Kyrgyzstan.
To obtain information, it is necessary to collect 517 different documents. The authorities provide 400 different services, which shows a high level of bureaucracy.
“Therefore, situations arise when citizens do not see digitalization. There is another point. Over the past five years, government agencies, the Ministry of Digital Development, international partners and donors have been actively introducing information systems and solutions. But this is not enough. For example, the electronic notary did not start working, there is resistance from government agencies and participants in digital transformation,” Azamat Burzhuev said.
“The problem with the development of digitalization is also that we have a fear of technology both on the part of the population and government agencies. We have encountered such a problem. We are working, teaching officials and the population in the regions the basics of digitalization and work with information systems,” he concluded.
