A comparative analysis of the purchasing power of the average monthly wage in the capitals of the EAEU states shows that Bishkek residents can buy the least. This is due to the low average salary.
For example, a resident of the capital of Kyrgyzstan can buy about 590 liters of milk for an average salary, while in Moscow it is 2.2 times more (1,300 liters). Astana resident can buy 3.1 tons of potatoes for one salary, and resident of Bishkek — 1,315 kilograms.
A Bishkek resident can buy half as much food with salary for a month as a resident of Moscow.
