Film from Kyrgyzstan "Tenirberdi" directed by Asel Zhuraeva won a prize at Fajr International Film Festival in Iran. Kyrgyzcinema.com reports.
Temir Birnazarov and Asel Zhuraeva were awarded for the best screenplay.
Unknown people leave a six-month-old baby at the house of an elderly childless couple, they both are seventy years old. The couple is about to hand over the child to the authorities, but after hearing that small children are sold for transplants, they decide to keep the child.
Cast: Gulaiym Kanimetova, Toktosun Arzygulov, Zhenish Smanov, Kulchoro Sydykov, Kalipa Tashtanova.
The world premiere of the film took place at the festival.
