First Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan Choro Seyitov met with the Country Director of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) Viktor Wetzel. Press service of the department reported.
Choro Seyitov told about the ongoing social and economic reforms and implementation of the medium-term national program for the development of the country, as well as the supervised areas of the ministry, adopted programs and strategies. Issues of regional development, trade, transport corridors and green economy, in particular low-carbon transport, were discussed.
«Viktor Wetzel announced the readiness of GIZ to assist in the development of the green economy, as well as the launch of a new regional project for the development of trade from 2024. In addition, issues of cooperation in various fields and the progress of implementation of current projects were discussed,» the statement says.
