At the initiative of the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, construction of 400 houses for the Pamir Kyrgyz will begin in Chon-Alai district of Osh region in the near future. Press service of the President reported.
Work is scheduled to begin in May 2023. All houses will be provided with heat, electricity and other necessary for a comfortable living.
The presidential press service added that the country’s leadership is taking all necessary measures for the complete resettlement of all ethnic Kyrgyz from the territories of the Little and Great Pamirs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan — the state has enough forces and means for it.
Earlier, the Deputy Minister of Labor, Social Security and Migration Zhyldyz Polotova noted that in accordance with the adopted program of the Cabinet of Ministers, it is planned to build a total of 95 residential buildings for the Pamir Kyrgyz.
