Pamir Kyrgyz receive aid on behalf of President Sadyr Japarov

The Minister of Labor, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan Kudaibergen Bazarbaev handed over material aid on behalf of the President Sadyr Japarov to the families of Pamir Kyrgyz who live in Taldy-Suu village, Alai district. Press service of the ministry reported.

There are 108 Pamir Kyrgyz living in Kyrgyzstan, or 22 families, 17 of them live in Alai district, the rest live in Naryn and Chui regions.

«The Pamir Kyrgyz have been receiving assistance from the national budget and sponsors since their resettlement in 2017. The village of Taldy-Suu was allocated 20 million soms from the republican budget; on the instructions of the president, the Pamir Kyrgyz are granted citizenship of the Kyrgyz Republic in an expedited manner. The head of state allocated each family 10 sheep, a calf and a horse. Local authorities are building barns to keep the cattle, buy feed for a total amount of 850,000 soms and provide them with food and coal. Thirty-eight children living in Alai district receive allowances and two citizens receive pensions. 41 children go to school,» Kudaibergen Bazarbaev said.

The minister handed each family 160 kilograms of flour, 55 kilograms of pasta, 53 kilograms of sugar, 12 liters of vegetable oil, 3 kilograms of rice, tea as well as winter jackets and children’s shoes.
