Japan will hand over medical equipment to the Pokrovsky Combined Psycho-Neurological Social Inpatient Institution in Talas region. The press service of the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration reported.
According to it, the head of the ministry Kudaibergen Bazarbaev, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Kyrgyz Republic Hideki Goda and the director of the Pokrovsky Psycho-Neurological Institution Asanbek Saparaliev signed a grant contract.
The ministry noted that under the Grass-Roots Human Security grant program of the Japanese government, the institution will receive an ultrasound therapy machine, a dental unit, a washing machine, a medical service car and other equipment for a total of $98,160.
Earlier, the Ministry of Health announced that four healthcare organizations will receive new equipment under the grant program of the Government of Japan.
