Trade between Kyrgyzstan and Russia increases 1.5 times

Following the results of 11 months of 2022, the trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Russia increased 1.5 times compared to the same period in 2021. The National Statistical Committee provided such data.

According to published figures, for January-November 2022, the figure reached $2,984.6 billion. This is $954,191.1 million more than in 2021. At the same time, the export of goods from Kyrgyzstan to Russia is estimated at $917 million (2.5 times growth), and imports — $2,067.6 billion (1.2 times increase).

China takes the first place among the main trade partners of Kyrgyzstan. The share of the country in the total volume of trade is 34.8 percent. Russia takes the second place (28.2 percent) and Kazakhstan — the third (10.2 percent).
