Vaccination of the population against viral hepatitis B began in Kyrgyzstan on December 14. At least 4,608 people have been vaccinated for the month (data as of January 16). The head of the Republican Immunoprophylaxis Center Gulbara Ishenapysova told 24.kg news agency.
She reminded that the campaign started in pilot regions. «1,330 people have been vaccinated in Osh, 1,636 people — in Bishkek, and 1,642 people — in Chui region,» Gulbara Ishenapysova said.
The head of the center added that vaccination began throughout the country on January 16. All citizens of Kyrgyzstan aged 23-65 can get vaccinated free of charge at Family Medicine Centers at their place of residence.
