Due to a sharp increase in electricity consumption, there is a load on the electrical networks and equipment, especially during peak-load hours. The National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan (NENK) JSC reported.
To protect equipment from overheating and failure, there may be short-term power outages. In case of emergencies, teams are on duty around the clock.
«We urge consumers not to turn on several household appliances at the same time and save electricity. Good working order of the entire power supply system of the republic depends on the economical attitude to electricity consumption on these cold days,» the company noted.
In addition, in connection with the abnormal cold weather, NENK JSC organized the duty of the company’s management, central office, heads of all branches, as well as responsible specialists. Additional night shifts of personnel at the facilities have been organized. In case of emergency situations, an emergency repair stock has been prepared with the development of a scheme for their prompt elimination. Repair teams are provided with vehicles and necessary spare parts.
