Erkinbek Osoev has been appointed an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Japan. Press service of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Head of state Sadyr Japarov signed a corresponding decree.
Mirlan Arstanbaev was relieved of his post as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Japan, Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines concurrently with residence in Tokyo in August.
In October 2022, Erkinbek Osoev was relieved of his post as Minister of Transport and Communications. He wrote a letter of voluntary resignation. He has been in the position for a little over a year, since August 2021.
