A complaint against three judges was sent to the disciplinary commission under the Council of Judges for illegal decisions. Azizbek Shukurbekov, head of the Department of the Prosecutor General’s Office, announced at a meeting of the Parliament.
He noted that the Prosecutor General’s Office was waiting for the commission’s decision in order to hold judges accountable.
Deputy Arslanbek Maliev said that there were a lot of facts of violations by judges. «As an ordinary citizen, I can provide you with facts on 10 illegal court decisions. Just bring the matter to an end,» he addressed the representatives of the main supervisory authority.
The head of the Supreme Court, Zamirbek Bazarbaev, believes that not only judges, but also representatives of law enforcement agencies should be held responsible for an illegal sentence.
