Saudi Arabia has allocated 6,000 quotas for Kyrgyz pilgrims to participate in the Hajj 2023. Press service of the Spiritual Directorate of the Muslims of Kyrgyzstan (SDMK) reported.
According to it, representatives of the Muftiyat and the Ministry of Hajj of Saudi Arabia discussed organization of the pilgrimage.
«At least 6,000 quotas have been allocated to Kyrgyzstan. But Saudi Arabia has warned that in case of an outbreak of coronavirus infection and introduction of restrictions, quota will be reduced,» the SDMK said.
The Muftiyat noted that 4,313 citizens are in line for pilgrimage in the electronic database.
