Rains and snow are expected on most of the country’s territory from January 9 to January 11. Heavy snow is forecast in the foothills and mountainous regions. In addition, the wind speed will increase.
Abnormally cold weather is expected across Uzbekistan on January 10-15. The air temperature at night may drop to −17 degrees, during the day — up to −8 degrees.
It should be noted that Kyrgyzhydromet also predicts a cold snap in the coming days. Frosts are expected at night from January 11, the air temperature will drop to −20 degrees Celsius.
