In the context of trade, economic and financial volatility, more than 50 measures and decisions aimed at supporting business have been adopted in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) this year. The President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov said, speaking at a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in an expanded format.
According to him, the measures concerned work in the areas of customs and tariff regulation of the domestic market and cooperation, financial and foreign exchange markets, and international economic cooperation. There were also support measures to ensure the resilience of member states’ economies and food security.
Proposals and recommendations have been prepared that will contribute to the formation of a favorable competitive environment for the development of entrepreneurship, unlocking the potential of small and medium-sized businesses, a common exchange market for goods within the Union, and creating a system of reference laboratories in the participating countries.
«Measures have been developed for the use of regulatory sandboxes in the implementation of digital projects of the Union, activation and development of interregional trade and economic partnership and development of exports. A significant contribution to the development of this area of cooperation and integration was the decision to create a Eurasian Reinsurance Organization. I think I will not be mistaken if I say that the businessmen of our states are looking forward to the start of the practical activities of this structure,» Sadyr Japarov said.
