Sadyr Japarov receives credentials from Ambassadors of India, EU, Japan

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov received credentials from the Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India, the European Union and Japan. Press service of the head of state reported.

Credentials were presented by the Ambassador of India Arun Kumar Chatterjee, Head of the European Union Delegation Marilyn Josefson and the Ambassador of Japan Hideki Goda.

Sadyr Japarov held bilateral meetings with each of the ambassadors, discussing a wide range of issues of bilateral relations. An exchange of views took place on deepening political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, building up cooperation in the fields of tourism, introducing a green economy, energy, as well as in other areas of mutual interest.

At a meeting with Arun Kumar Chatterjee, the President stressed that relations between Kyrgyzstan and India have always been based on mutual trust and friendship. He noted the growth of trade and economic cooperation, which is the main direction of bilateral relations.

Sadyr Japarov noted that Kyrgyzstan was focusing on attracting direct investment from India to such sectors as energy sector, processing industry, agriculture, medicine and tourism.

At a meeting with Marilyn Josefson, he reminded of the 30th anniversary of partnership between Kyrgyzstan and the European Union, confirmed his readiness to further expand and strengthen relations in the spirit of trust and mutually beneficial partnership.

At a meeting with the Ambassador of Japan, the head of state said that Kyrgyzstan considered Japan as a close and main partner, and close friendly ties have been established between the peoples. He noted the existing unused potential in the trade and economic sphere, which needs to be expanded.

Sadyr Japarov expressed his readiness to deepen the bilateral strategic partnership between the countries.
