Northern Sokh gas storage facility located in Burgondy area of Batken region is transferred to Kyrgyzgastrans state enterprise. The head of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov announced at a meeting of Parliament.
Deputy Yrysbek Atadzhanov noted that, according to the latest agreement with Uzbekistan, the gas storage facility is transferred to Kyrgyzstan.
«Yes, we are requesting a technical passport of the gas storage from Uzbekistan. We offer neighbors to use it jointly. Preparation of a business plan for the modernization of Kyrgyzneftegas has almost been completed. We issue a permit for exploration work to the enterprise, thereby expanding the powers of the state-owned enterprise. And we will start with Burgondy area,» he said.
