Supply of the Bishkek Heating and Power Plant (HPP) with imported coal from Kazakhstan started. Electric Stations JSC reported.
The coal will be supplied according to schedule from November 2022 to May 2023. The first batch of coal has already arrived at the Bishkek HPP, 64 high-sided wagons of coal have been unloaded and 65 more wagons are on the way.
«Another 65 wagons of coal are being shipped from the open pit of Karazhyra JSC (Kazakhstan). In the autumn-winter period of 2021-2022, Karazhyra JSC also supplied imported grade D coal in the amount of 643,000 tons. The solid fuel has been delivered in full,» the company said.
There are more than 172,000 tons of coal on the territory of the Bishkek HPP now. The daily consumption is about 7,200 tons per day.
