Smuggling of gold from Uzbekistan into Kyrgyzstan has been prevented. Press service of the State Customs Service reported.
«Employees of the South-Western Customs at Madaniyat checkpoint found gold items in the hand luggage of a Kyrgyzstani traveling from Uzbekistan without any shipping documents confirming customs clearance. The total weight of the items was 194 grams,» the statement says.
