Blogger Yrys Zhekshenaliev was placed under house arrest. Attorney Kantemir Turdaliev told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, such a decision was made by the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek.
Yrys Zhekshenaliev will be under house arrest until December 14.
Yrys Zhekshenaliev, the administrator of Polit Uznik (Political Prisoner) Facebook page, is charged with calls for active disobedience to the lawful demands of government officials and riots. On August 14, he was taken to the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, then detained and placed in the remand centre 1 in Bishkek.
