According to him, the phenomenon of marketplaces is a significant phenomenon all over the world for the American, European economies and economies of Russia, the countries of the EAEU and the CIS. The growth rate of e-commerce compared to other sectors is impressive, even the financial market cannot boast of this.
«This is due to the fact that this market is not yet saturated. The main thing, it is beneficial not only for the marketplaces themselves, but also for those who work with them — sellers and logistics companies, but, most importantly, it is convenient and beneficial for buyers. This directly affects the quality of life,» said Sergei Belyakov.
He noted that e-commerce has become popular in the Russian Federation. «This is due both to restrictions in 2020 for traditional retailers due to the spread of COVID-19, and to the convenience of marketplaces. They make it possible to make informed purchases: save time, compare prices and choose the most advantageous offers,» Sergei Belyakov concluded.
