Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Tajikistan Erlan Abdyldaev was called to the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Tajikistan and handed a note of protest in connection with the comment of the head of the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan. Media of the Republic of Tajikistan report.
The ministry noted: «The Tajik side regards such statements by the press secretary of the Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan as evidence of the erosion of political culture and the absence of elementary diplomatic ethics.»
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the need for interaction between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries to prevent the appearance in the information space of messages that could mislead the society of both countries.
Press Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Kustebaev commented on his Facebook page on the awarding of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon with the Russian Order of Merit for the Fatherland of the 3rd Degree. He stressed that when the blood of innocent victims has not cooled down on Kyrgyz soil, mothers still mourn their children, civilians are returning to their destroyed houses, this award causes reasonable bewilderment.
