Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Akylbek Japarov, held a meeting on preparing the sectors of the economy and the population for the autumn-winter period 2022-2023. Press service of the Cabinet reported.
Akylbek Japarov introduced Acting Minister Taalaibek Ibraev to the staff of the central office of the Ministry of Energy, noting that the ministry had a number of important tasks set.
«This year, a record 12 billion soms have been allocated for the development of the energy sector, the initiated reforms must be completed, work of distribution companies must be reviewed. If you look at the figures, it is still not known where kilowatts of electricity go on a large scale. You need to make a breakthrough, you have every opportunity for this,» he said.
Then there was presentation on the readiness of energy companies for the autumn-winter period 2022-2023.
The head of the Cabinet visited the capital’s Heating and Power Plant (HPP).
It was noted that all approved work within the framework of the action plan for preparation for the autumn-winter period is being carried out in full and on time, including ensuring the planned volume of coal and proper readiness of equipment for possible loads.
Akylbek Japarov also instructed to free the territory of the HPP from scrap metal.
