The Bishkek City Court denied the request of the attorney of the former external manager of Kumtor Gold Company CJSC, Tengiz Bolturuk, to change the measure of restraint.
Tengiz Bolturuk will be kept in the pre-trial detention center of the State Committee for National Security until November 10.
Earlier it was reported about financial violations revealed at Kumtor, in particular, fuels and lubricants, food, spare parts were purchased at prices above market ones.
The Prosecutor General’s Office initiated three criminal cases. Former external manager of Kumtor Tengiz Bolturuk, procurement specialist Aisha-Gul Frontbek kyzy Dzhanalieva and the financial director Ryspek Toktogulov were detained.
