«The parties came to the following agreements: the border representatives of both countries will stay in Tort-Kocho area to monitor the situation on the border. The parties will patrol the area. The next meeting was scheduled for 7.30 p.m., which will be attended by the heads of the border outposts of the parties guarding the border. The next meeting of the leadership of Batken region and the border representative of Kyrgyzstan in Batken region with Tajik colleagues will take place in Kak-Sai area,» the Border Service noted.

Tajik border guards opened fire. In response, the servicemen of the Kyrgyz Republic also used weapons. The third shootout occurred in Pasky-Aryk area. Four people are wounded, two of them are civilians.
