Smuggled cargo detained in Batken region

Servicemen of Batken border detachment detained a vehicle driven by a citizen of Kyrgyzstan at the exit from Sokh enclave (Uzbekistan). Plastic sewer pipes were transported in the truck without proper documents.

Department of Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reports.

Another smuggler was detained in Sada area of Leilek district. He tried to smuggle two tons of rice from Tajikistan for further sale in Kyrgyzstan.

Later, in the same area, border guards detained another Kyrgyzstani when trying to smuggle more than 350 kilograms of grapes. Investigation continues.
