Alliance Altyn company handed over Chevrolet Nexia cars to law enforcement officers. The ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company Akhmed Bazhaev and the Minister of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ulan Niyazbekov. «All of us — the state, the population, and business — are interested in peace and order in Kyrgyzstan. To a large extent, this depends on how well the law enforcement agencies are provided in material and technical terms,» the press service quoted Bazhaev as saying.
Ulan Niyazbekov noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has purchased more than 90 cars since the beginning of the year, which were handed over to the regions.
«Today we are handing over cars to the territorial divisions of Chui, Jalal-Abad, Issyk-Kul regions,» the minister said.
Four vehicles will be sent to the Jalal-Abad Department of Internal Affairs, four — to the Chui Department of Internal Affairs, nine — to the Issyk-Kul Department of Internal Affairs, and one — to the duty unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek provided a GAZelle vehicle for the mobile police station of the Internal Affairs Department of Sverdlovsky district.
