Hostel for cancer patients opened in Bishkek

A hostel for patients of the National Center of Oncology and Hematology has been opened in Bishkek. The head of Kurdash school of patients, Shaiyr Sagynbaeva, told 24.kg news agency.

According to her, there are cases when women arriving from the regions have nowhere to stay while receiving treatment. Travel expenses are high, rented housing is also not affordable for everyone.

«So the idea to create a hostel was born. We found a two-room apartment, people helped us pay rent for two months only. Therefore, we are looking for sponsors for October, we need 18,000 soms every month,» Shaiyr Sagynbaeva told.

Those who wish to help can contact her on +996700655516.

Nine patients stayed in the hostel during a month of its work.
