Akylbek Japarov attends opening of school in Altyn-Ordo residential area

«Quality education is the path to a brighter future, the foundation for sustainable development of the state,» said Akylbek Japarov, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, during the opening ceremony of the school No. 98 in Altyn-Ordo residential area in Bishkek. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.

The event was attended by a Mayor of the capital Emilbek Abdykadyrov, deputy of the Parliament Dastan Bekeshev, Minister of Education and Science Almazbek Beishenaliev.

Akylbek Japarov congratulated schoolchildren, teachers and parents on the opening of the new school, stressing that on behalf of the President, 15 schools and one kindergarten have been built in the capital this year.

Three billion soms were allocated for this, including 2.5 billion from the republican budget and 450 million soms from the city budget.

«Today we are opening one of the first schools in Altyn-Ordo residential area. This is a special holiday for children, teachers and parents. The school was named after the Hero of the Kyrgyz Republic, People’s Writer Tugolbai Sydykbekov,» he said.

The school in Altyn-Ordo is designed for 480 students, there is a canteen, assembly and sports halls, bathrooms. The estimated cost is 210,251 million soms.

Akylbek Japarov also visited the renovated school No. 10. The estimated cost of the overhaul of the educational institution, designed for 640 students is 83,299 million soms.
