Four citizens of Kyrgyzstan injured in road accident in Kazakhstan

At least 12 people were injured in a road accident in Turkestan region of Kazakhstan, four of them are Kyrgyzstanis. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

A bus driver lost control of the vehicle and drove off the road into a ditch at the entrance to Shapak Baba village in Tyulkubas district at the 601st kilometer of West China — West Europe highway on August 27 at about 6.40 a.m.

Four citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic are among the victims, who were hospitalized with various injuries in the Central District Hospital of the village of T. Ryskulov in Tyulkubas district.

The condition of the victims is assessed as moderate, they are provided with appropriate medical care. The road accident was registered under Article 345 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Consulate General of Kyrgyzstan in Almaty, together with the state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is carrying out appropriate work to clarify all the circumstances and details of the incident, and also keeps the issue of the state of health of hospitalized citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic under control.
