Akylbek Japarov, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, signed a decree according to which the regime of external management is terminated at Kumtor mine. Kumtor Gold Company CJSC reported.
The document notes that Heritage of Great Nomads Holding and Tengiz Bolturuk must submit a final report on their activities to the Cabinet of Ministers within two weeks.
Earlier it was reported about financial violations revealed at Kumtor, in particular, fuels and lubricants, food, spare parts were purchased at prices above market ones. Tengiz Bolturuk, who previously headed Kumtor, and financial director Ryspek Toktogulov were removed from their posts.
