Section of Shopokov Street from Kievskaya Street to Chui Avenue has been officially made one-way today. Press service of the Patrol Police Department of Bishkek reported.
According to it, road was marked at this section and road signs were installed. Cars can move in a northerly direction only.
It is not allowed to turn from Chui Avenue towards Kievskaya Street. It is also forbidden to drive along Shopokov Street to the south.
Drivers who violate the new rules will not be fined until August 20. Two days are given for explanatory work.
The amount of the fine for driving into the oncoming lane is 1,000 soms. In a few days, the Safe City cameras installed in this area will begin to record the violations.
Sections of Logvinenko and Panfilov streets from Chui Avenue to Kievskaya Street have become one-way since August 16. Driving along Panfilov Street is allowed in the northerly direction, along Logvinenko — in the southerly direction.
