A citizen of Iran was detained in Bishkek while selling a particularly large batch of narcotic drugs — methamphetamine. Press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The drugs were delivered to Kyrgyzstan from Iran. Then they were supposed to be transported through Tajikistan to Afghanistan.
«Officers of the State Service on Drug Control seized 20 briquettes containing a white crystalline substance. The total weight of methamphetamine was more than 10 kilograms. The price of one gram on the black market is 4,500 soms. The approximate cost of the seized drugs is 45 million soms,» the ministry said.
