Investigator of the State Committee for National Security suspended the investigation due to the illness of the accused. The latter allegedly provided a certificate from a medical institution.
A criminal case was initiated against Aliyarbek Abzhaliev, ex-deputy of the Parliament, at the request of the former business partner of his son Sukhrab Zharmukhamedov. He was arrested on February 11 and released from custody after he paid the state $1.2 million in damages.
