Sadyr Japarov hands over women's headscarves to mosque

Head of the Spiritual Directorate of the Muslims of Kyrgyzstan (SDMK) Zamir Rakiev met with believers in one of the mosques in Bishkek.

Women were invited to talk with the mufti. The head of the SDMK and the guests discussed the role of women in Islam.

Participants of the meeting were given headscarves, which were handed over to them by the President Sadyr Japarov.

According to the SDMK, leaders and students of Khadija Education Center under the muftiyat participated in the meeting.

Zamir Rakiev urged men to respect women. He also told about special classes that are held on Saturdays and Sundays.
