The team of Kyrgyzstanis won three bronze medals at the International School Olympiad in Informatics, which was held in Jakarta (Indonesia) from August 7 to August 15. Press service of the Ministry of Education and Science reported.
The International Olympiad in Informatics is the largest Olympiad, in which four best students from each country participate. At least 349 schoolchildren from 90 countries participated in it this year.
Participants from Kyrgyzstan were selected based on the results of the final round of the National Olympiad. They are students of the 10th grade of Sapat lyceums Aidar Munduzbaev and Tengiz Bekkoenov, graduates of the same lyceums Daniyar Beishekeev and Talant Dyikanbaev.
Aidar Munduzbaev, Tengiz Bekkoenov and Daniyar Beishekeev were awarded bronze medals, and Talant Dyikanbaev was awarded a diploma.
The team leader was Pavel Pankov. Kylychbek Uraiymov trained the participants for the Olympiad.
