IT equipment will be handed over to regional employment services to expand the labor market information system and assist citizens. Press service of the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The equipment was donated by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) within the framework of the project «Promotion of Employment and Vocational Training». City and regional employment services will receive video and conference communication systems, laptops, printers, large screens, and office equipment.
A digital platform is being developed together with GIZ that contains training courses for various categories of citizens, a monitoring system for promoting employment of the population and improving the skills of their employees. It also expands the functions of the labor market information system.
A new Youth Internship tool is currently being piloted, as well as a tool aimed at helping to improve the employment prospects of persons with disabilities.
