Regular meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will be held in Cholpon-Ata city, Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan on August 25-26. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The event will be chaired by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov. It will be attended by the heads of governments of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, observer states, the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, as well as the heads of governments of the invited countries.
The agenda of the meeting includes formation of a common gas market of the integration association, financing of industrial cooperation, regulation of the alcohol market, and establishment of a Eurasian reinsurance company. In addition, a number of bilateral and multilateral high-level meetings will be held on the sidelines of the forum.
The first Youth Forum of the CIS and the EAEU will also take place on the sidelines of the Intergovernmental Council.
More than 200 people will take part in it. The forum will bring together youth activists, civil servants and novice diplomats from the member states of the EAEU and the CIS. It is aimed at expanding the processes of interaction between the youth of the countries, creating new opportunities for the implementation of youth initiatives, social and professional self-realization of the younger generation.
