Altynbek Zhumaev was dismissed from the post of the head of the Information Policy Service of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the head of state reported.
Sadyr Japarov signed an order according to which Altynbek Zhumaev was relieved of the post in connection with transfer to another post. He has been appointed an advisor to the President.
Altynbek Zhumaev was appointed to the post at the end of December 2021. He is a longtime associate and friend of the head of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Tashiev. He is also a friend of the ex-speaker of the Parliament Akhmatbek Keldibekov. In 2017, he opened Nur TV channel in Osh together with the latter. Prior to his appointment, he was an adviser to the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov.
