The number of crimes committed by Kyrgyzstanis has increased in Russia. The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation reported.
At least 2,772 criminal offenses were registered in 2019. In 2021 the figure increased to 3,908. The number of administrative offenses increased from 72,000 in 2019 to 270,000 in 2021.
In this regard, a meeting was held at the diplomatic mission on July 27 with the participation of members of the Kyrgyz diaspora in Moscow. Its participants discussed the increase in the number of crimes committed by the Kyrgyzstanis.
Employees of the Embassy and representative office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation provided brief information on the work carried out in the first half of 2022, and also voiced the main problems that prevent the legal stay of citizens of Kyrgyzstan in Russia.
As a result, the participants agreed to regularly hold such meetings to exchange views and take further joint actions to help reduce the number of crimes committed by Kyrgyzstanis.
