Nationwide Testing and admission of applicants to higher education institutions will take place twice a year in Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the Ministry of Education and Science reported.
According to it, the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers «On the approval of normative legal acts in the field of higher and secondary vocational education of the Kyrgyz Republic» came into force. The document approves the procedure for admission to higher educational institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic, the regulation on state educational grants and budget-funded places at educational organizations of higher and secondary vocational education, the regulation on the Nationwide Testing of applicants.
Selection and enrollment of applicants will be held twice a year: in summer and winter periods.
«Winter admission to universities for contract-based studies is carried out at the discretion of the higher education institution to places that remain vacant after summer admission. The selection and enrollment of applicants, regardless of organizational and legal forms, is carried out through an automated information system,» the ministry noted.
In this regard, according to the ministry, the Nationwide Testing will also be held twice a year.
