Man attacked a woman and stabbed her with a knife in Alamedin market of Bishkek on Saturday. The victim was taken to hospital.
According to law enforcement agencies, it was established that the 38-year-old woman was attacked by her ex-husband. He stabbed her with a knife 16 times.
Officers of the Department of Patrol Police Service identified the attacker and detained him. The 49-year-old man was taken to the police station. Investigation continues.
